The much-anticipated Air Jordan 5 “Alternate Bel-Air” will be available in extended sizes starting August 15 on on the Nike SNKRS platform for $190. The shoe goes live for purchase on Saturday at 10 a.m. ET and is sure to be in high demand. Potential buyers can sign up to be notified through the SNKRS app when the shoe goes live for purchase.
The shoe is detailed with familiar 90s-styled elements and vibrant colors to emphasize the Bel-Air theme.

“An all-white upper allows the iconic lines and symbols of this AJ5 to pop with neon expression, while the geometric pattern on the collar lining speaks for itself in case people don’t recognize maxin’ and relaxin’ when they see it,” the platform reads. “A dark royal midsole grounds the look of two different color accents on the left and right shoes.”
The shoe is a redesign of the original Air Jordan 5 released in 1990. As of 2020 there are 34 installments in the Air Jordan line.
“Since his game-winning shot that brought championship glory to North Carolina, Michael Jordan has been at the forefront of basketball consciousness,” the platform says. “He took the court in 1985 wearing the original Air Jordan I, simultaneously breaking league rules and his opponents’ will while capturing the imagination of fans worldwide.”
