Fast-casual pizza chain, Fresh Brothers, is replacing its plant-based meat options with Beyond Meat. The vegan-friendly restaurant formerly carried Impossible Foods products along with Daiya mozzarella. The Daiya cheese will stay, but the Impossible meat is currently being phased out and replaced with Beyond Meat Beef.

Geoff Goodman, CEO of Fresh Brothers, explained, “All of our products are free of synthetic additives and have no added preservatives or fillers so it tastes better and is better for you. When evaluating which plant-based meat option to offer now and in the future, Beyond Meat’s products made without GMOs felt like the right choice for us and our guests.”

Three new pizzas have debuted as part of this collaboration. The Vegan DaWorks is vegan as it comes and includes Beyond Beef, Daiya mozzarella, plant-based pepperoni, mushrooms, onions, and green peppers on a vegan crust. The Beyond Meat Pizza can be veganized by substituting Daiya mozzarella for the dairy-based mozzarella. The Beyond Meat Slider CANNOT be veganized, as it comes on a King’s Hawaiian roll which contains both dairy and eggs.

To celebrate the launch, Fresh Brothers is offering medium Beyond Meat pizzas for $15 through September 30 (regular price is $17).

Beyond Beef is now available at all Fresh Brothers locations.
