
DENVER- A strong band of jet stream winds will sweep a couple of cold fronts across Colorado over the next several days.
The mountains will continue to see more snow and strong winds.
It will stay dry in Denver and across the plains today. Temperatures will be in the mid 40s this afternoon. The mountains will stay in the 20s with gusty winds and an additional 2-5 inches of snow for our northern mountains.
Sunday will be sunny and milder with highs in the 30s in the mountains and upper 40s to low 50s for Denver and the plains.
Looking ahead, another cold front will bring cold weather and light snow starting Monday and continued on Tuesday. So far, Denver has only seen about 20 inches of snow so far this season — well below normal.
Temperatures will stay cold with a chance for more snow by next Thursday.
