Dollar Fresh will be opening a store in Manchester this fall.
The store is currently under construction on West Marion Street just south of Pizza Ranch. The 28,000 square foot grocery store will include a full selection of groceries, fresh baked items, a dollar section, a wall of value, ready-to-eat meal options and other services.
Dawn Buzynski, Director of Strategic Communications for HyVee, tells KMCH that Dollar Fresh is designed for smaller communities, serving up an assortment of fresh and new products at low prices.
The initial plans submitted to the Manchester City Council last year estimated the store would bring forty new full- and part-time jobs to the community, but HyVee officials now say they don’t have an estimated number of new employees.
